The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is expected to release the SSC MTS Result 2025 in the 3rd week of January 2025 on the official website at ssc.gov.in. SSC MTS Expected Cut Off 2025
According to experts, the tentative SSC MTS cut-off is expected to be between 140-150 for the General category, 128-138 for SC, 125-135 for ST, and 135-145 for OBC candidates. Candidates who pass the SSC MTS Exam 2024-25 will appear for the Physical Endurance Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT), applicable only for the Havaldar post. The PET consists of meters of walking and an 8-kilometer cycling test.
SSC MTS Results 2024-25: Tie-Resolution Criteria
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) retains the authority to revise the tie-resolution criteria prior to the declaration of the final result, with any updates being duly notified. According to the latest notification, the SSC has updated its tie-breaking formula. If two or more candidates achieve the same aggregate score, ties will be resolved using the following criteria, in order of preference:
- Marks obtained in the General Awareness section of Session-II.
- Total normalized marks in Session-I.
- Date of birth, with older candidates receiving preference.
- Alphabetical order of the candidates’ names.
