The Central Bank of India published the ZBO Recruitment 2025 Notification on its official website on January 21, 2025. The recruitment process will include a written examination and an interview. Educational Qualification
A graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification as such by the Central Government, including an Integrated Dual Degree (IDD), is required. Candidates with professional qualifications such as Medical, Engineering, Chartered Accountancy, or Cost Accountancy are also eligible.
Experience: Candidates currently working or previously employed in Scheduled Commercial Banks (SCBs), Scheduled Cooperative Banks (Urban and State), or Non-Banking Financial Companies (NBFCs) with a minimum asset size of ₹500 crore operating in India.
(a) In Officer/Supervisory cadre: 1 year
(b) In Clerical Cadre: 3 years
Age Limit
Candidates must be at least 21 years old and not more than 32 years old as of 30.11.2024, meaning they should have been born on or after 01.12.1992 and on or before 30.11.2003 (both dates inclusive).
Application Fee
The application fee is ₹175 + GST for Schedule Caste/Schedule Tribe/PWBD candidates and women applicants, while all other candidates are required to pay ₹850 + GST. Payment can be made using various online methods, such as Debit Cards, Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards, or Mobile Wallets.
Selection Process
The Central Bank of India ZBO Selection Process 2025 consists of two stages: a written examination and an interview.
- Written Examination: The test will include 120 questions, each worth one mark, with a total duration of 80 minutes.
- Interview: The interview will account for 30% of the total score, while the written examination will contribute 70%.
A merit list will be prepared based on the candidates’ performance in the online test, organized zone-wise and category-wise.
